I support Needham’s effort to establish an FRA Quiet Zone to improve the safety and quality of life for all residents and businesses.

As a candidate for state representative, I'm deeply committed to improving the quality of life in our town while ensuring a high level of safety at our commuter rail crossings.

By investing in infrastructure upgrades, we can enhance the safety of our rail crossings with advanced signaling systems, better barriers, and additional warning mechanisms. Designating Needham as a Quiet Zone will significantly reduce the noise pollution caused by non-emergency train horns. I know how disruptive this noise can be, especially for those near the rail lines. We're creating a quieter, more peaceful environment that benefits everyone's well-being by eliminating unnecessary train horn noise. Improved infrastructure can increase property values and make our town more attractive to new residents and businesses, boosting our local economy.
